There is an old song by Three Dog Night that says “Joy to the world, all the boys and girls. Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea, joy to you and me”. I couldn’t help but think about those lyrics as I painted this painting. A brilliant sunset is illuminating the ocean and the creatures of the deep are leaping and swimming for joy! It got me thinking about how when we see heavenly beauty it brings us joy in our souls. It’s very important in this time, to look to the Light, and set our minds and eyes on heavenly things not on the earthly things that are poison for our spirits. I hope when you see this painting it brightens your news feed and you can feel as though you too are leaping for joy with all the creatures “Beyond the Shore”.
