This is a painting I spent a long time working on because I wanted to see how much detail I could capture with texture. Oil painting is such fun challenge filled with limitless possibilities as to what you can do with the handling of the paint. I felt like these deer this winter. Just hunkered down and enjoying the snow and hiding as much as possible from the craziness outside.
